WebbIf you're using a docking station or external monitor, that might be the cause for SketchUp to use the wrong card. For a monitor to work with SketchUp it has to be directly connected to the GPU. If there is something in between (like a dock with video capabilities) or if the monitor is connected to the lesser of two video cards, it may crash. WebbIf you use the same GPU for monitor and rendering it will feel sluggish, the best way is to add second GPU only for rendering but if that’s not possible, you can set Rays Per Pixel to 1-2. This will force V-Ray to use GPU in less consuming way and will improve responsiveness.
